For many people, cancer isn’t just a health challenge; it’s a financial one, too. The Patient Assistance/Transportation Services (PATS) program alleviates some of the financial hardship associated with treatment by assisting with travel, lodging, co-payment, diagnostic and other costs.
When a cancer diagnosis affects not just one’s physical health, but also one’s financial stability, our Patient Assistance/Transportation Services program (PATS) steps in. Through this vital community program, we provide financial assistance in the form of a pre-paid gift card that can be used for travel, lodging, co-payment, diagnostic and other cancer-related costs.
A physician’s referral is required, along with proof of residence in El Paso County, and must comply with our guidelines. Assistance is limited, and depends on current availability of funds.
